Betty rides Laguna Beach

Returning for another visit in our office in San Clemente CA and staying for 3 1/2 week in the US it was clear that this time Betty joins me on my trip as an effective training was needed to get ready for our transalp tour in June.

For short rides like in the morning there is not a lot of choices but at least you can choose inbetween flat and hilly though. One of the flat rides along the coast and a highlight because of the famous name of the town is riding PCH to Laguna Beach.

First part is crossing San Clemente and ride on the bike path to Dana Point with it´s beautiful harbour. Early in the morning still chilli and as usual in may foggy.

From Dana Point i needed to hit PCH but with its wideness and a bike lane it is no problem to ride and anyways homland of a lot of training partners. Reaching Laguna Beach is always nice as this holiday spot has a nice layout and with it´s famous light tower on the beach directly in the center for sure a highlight along the coast. So this ride was one of the first rides of Betty on US territory.
