Sao Paulo to Interlagos F1

First time in Brazil i did visit an exhibition for motorcycles in Sao Paulo. Around that show i was searching for a nice ride which was not easy anyways.

The bike this time was coming from my friend Juliano who is working for the company Bluecycle embedded in the Shimano Latin America group. He was also the one that made me sensible in doing a ride alone in and around Sao Paulo. Nevertheless i decided to to my first ride to Interlagos where 2 days ago Hamilton & Co were just competing on the F1 track. To reach the bike path along Rio Pinheiros was quite easy eventhough the path was officially 8k long. So i did a intuition loop to ride in direction to Interlagos but reaching again the river. The path there was ok but a lot of construction was going on as well.

I was reaching the lake Represa de Guarapiranga which is part of the lakes surrounding and being name giver for the area "Interlagos". As is was a national holiday a lot of people were enjoying the nature on this nice and warm day. Arriving at the race track a lot of activities in cleaning up the whole land around the circuit were going on and unfortunately they did not leave me in to do some nice pics. Somehow i found a door at the backside to do a few.

Then i needed to go on one of the quite many bike lanes back to the dead stinky river and rolled back downtown. At the end i crossed Parque Ipirapuera, one of the bigger ones which was crowded by people doing different activities. A nice experience in the biggest city of Latin America.
