Riding hilly with nice climbs and in an quiet environment touching the city Baden. A loop introduced by Jürgen our doctor in the gruppo biciclette during the Corona crisis is the one going towards Hainfeld in the district of Lilienfeld. Normally a ride with the "Gerichtsberg" a climb in beautiful landscape but a busy federal road and quite boring. This new variant though made this loop to an outstanding one.

Starting in Guntramsdorf first you cross Baden with its historical buildings and the famous Casino. Leaving town the first part is through Helenental which should be done outside peak times of traffic. Anyways after a few k´s you leave the main road for the first and also steepest climb of the tour Gutental-Zoblhof with it´s steepest parts of 13%. Crossing the plateau to Schwarzensee and a highspeed descent to Neuhaus is finishing the first thooth of the height profile.

Going more direction west you need to do a little hump (which we call "Schupfer") to Hafnerberg with its nice church famous for weddings. After a little descent you reach the Triestingtal named by the little river within. Again on a federal road this is the one which normally is over the Gerichtsberg. But thanks to Jürgen we leave in Kaumberg for the Araburg climb, the highlight of this ride.

Like in a different world you ride to the top of the loop (700m) in total nature with a cool view to Araburg, crossing farms and watching cows which watch you. A steep downhill then is ending in Ramsau. From there a few more k´s out of the valley end in the most western part of the ride, in Hainfeld.

On the way back there are a few classic climbs like Klammhöhe süd, Schöpfl/St. Corona, geschriebene Buche from Klausenleopoldsdorf and Wöglerin from Schusternazl to do before rolling back out to the flat through Mödling.
