Tokio ウインナーフォレストCherryFlower Ride

After my first ride in Japan almost 1 year ago with Mt. Fuji this time i wanted to do a more relaxed ride closer to Tokio. Again i was renting at Tim who delivered a bike to Cross Coffee a meeting point for local bicycle freaks. After a few train rides i reached the place and prepared for my ride. I was early spring and a nice day to enjoy the countryside

At the beginning it was still a long ride in the surroundings of Tokio until i reach an area with a look close to our Wienerwald in Austria. It also was time of Cherry Blossom eventhough there are not that much trees like in famous Kyoto. Nevertheless nature was awaking and it was a good mood in doing this loop. Riding along empty roads along rivers and lakes braught me down a bit after hard meetings and a motorcycle show in front. The characteristics of this ride was also like a Wienerwald ride hilly up and down with nice climbs and downhills. Crossing one high bridge over a river suddenly i had a lot of fireworkers and police in front blocking the bridge right in the middle. They were just acting to save one guy that wanted to do suicide and jump off it and luckily could do that.

Returning to more urban fields again a was forced with a lot of traffic lights again pushing me to do sprint training as they were not working in line and almost everyone was showing red when i reached it. Coming back to Cross Coffee i had one espresso and a cake and tried to talk to the owner in a kind of japenglish language - somehow we understood each other - a very nice spring ride.
