Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands

My first time in Malaysia i could not manage to get a bike as well having a swollen ankle. This time i found a shop delivering the bike to my hotel. So i wanted to reach Genting Highlands as this was already a summit finish on the tour malaysia as former Pro Rene Haselbacher told me he was competing on.

Already a few meters next to the hotel the landscape mark for the city - the Petronas Twin Towers. As being in the ceter i needed to find my way out to finally reach the road leading towards the mountain. A windy road, high humidity and a lot of macaques accompanied my way uphill. I had to look at the uncentered rim always touching a bit the breaks which made it not easier. I even had to grind them a bot on the tarmac as i had not the right tool to adjust.

Nevertheless reaching Genting Sempah and the entrance of Genting Park i on one hand was looking forward to move on onto top on the other hand already feeling tired legs. As usual life is answering if i would reach the top as at the toll gate they told me that it´s not allowed to go on from there. So i needed to go back the whole way and did find a routing around Batu Caves - a touristic place inside town. Traffic is always an issue in big cities and so in Kuala Lumpur but again everything went save and i retuned the bike directly at the shop.
