north "Cap Malheureux"

After doing my first rides on Mauritius just one cardinal point - the most north was missing. For this ride i had to cross Port Louis and so i decided to do this tour on a sunday to escape the daily traffic during the work days.

I started early at 5.30am and all went smooth to reach the capital city a first time this day an hour later. Crossing quick the goal was to go the straight up to Cap Malheureux - the northernmost point. On my way i did a short stopp in Triolet to buy two mini banana but also to visit the Maheswarnath Mandir Shivala Temple.

From the Cap i rode back the coast line and came to beautiful Grand Baie where i had breakfast in a little nice bakery with espresso, a croissant and a Red Bull. A lot of nice bays were following and there were many things to look at.

A little more than half way back i was again in Port Louis and did visit the Blue Penny Museum with one of 15 red and one of 12 blue mauritius stamps worth 1 million each inside. Again on the coast line road a last stopp was the signal light in Albion. Almost home again the nice descent to Flic en Flac and a sour Radler at my bar Sunset Garden were a nice ending of this ride.
