112k on the "wrong" left side to the Cape

After the appetite the day before i needed to do a real ride. So i decided to go towards the cape. The increadible outlook at the costal road and as Cape Town Cicle Tour was ahead many many riders were out that day. And this was just the appetizer as the day after 40.000 riders joined the Tour.

Never feeling alone the first part of the tour was leading me to Hout Bay, a little nice town as a starting point to go up Champs Peak. From there going uphill less and less riders were doing their training that far to safe power for the event. Moreover on the other side down i was the only one. Stretching out to the coast again to see nice beaches the goal for a little break was Simons Town with a lot of british colonial style houses. From there i choosed the direct way back and heading up to Champs Peak again and you could see the awesome pass road within the big rock. As this was the 2nd tour in 2018 i was glad to reach the hotel again being quite tired and ready for a big dinner.
